proRheo Rheomat R180
Adopting standard measurement principles, it can be used as a portable or desktop rotary viscometer, specifically designed for your viscosity measurement. It is simple to use and has a wide measurement range. Viscosity data can be displayed online, and measurement data can be stored (50 sets) or output to your computer and printer.
The R180 viscometer is suitable for fast and reliable viscosity measurement in laboratories and on site, and can be widely used in fields such as coatings, food, medicine, cosmetics, etc.
R180 is a classic rotational viscometer that uses a motor to drive the internal rotor for measurement while the outer cup is fixed. The sample is sheared between the outer cup and the rotor, and the viscosity can be calculated by measuring the shear stress and shear rate. The rotor of R180 can be tested in a fixed outer cup (temperature control accessories can be selected to control the temperature of the sample), or measured in an open system.
Measurement program:
*8 preset shear rate measurements
*2 preset step experiment modes
*8 custom experiments
*Minimum and maximum shear speeds
*Optional data processing and analysis software
Measurement data:
R180 continuously displays the following data:
*Temperature range: -9.9 to 99.9 ° C Accuracy:+/- 0 1 ° C 100 to 120 ° C Accuracy:+/- 1, 0 °C
*Measurement system number
*Torque and shear rate Torque: 0.25~10mNm Accuracy:+/- 0.01m? Nm, Shear rate: 0.8~3000/s
*Rotation speed and shear stress
*Viscosity 0.002~10000 Pas (depending on the system)
Measurement flexibility:
1. Single point measurement: Input any shear speed and immediately read the viscosity result. If R180 is connected to a computer, data can be continuously recorded. The changes in shear stress and viscosity over time are more useful for evaluating storage life.
2. Step program measurement: In automatic measurement mode, you can choose one of the 10 predetermined programs to record viscosity data at 8 different shear speeds. The rotational speed first increases and then decreases. The measurement results can also be output to a computer or printer. In addition, two step experiment modes are pre-set, and customers can customize up to 8 programs for future routine testing.
Sample requirements: Rheomat R180 is also a portable viscometer that is very flexible to test. It can be directly immersed into the sample for measurement, and viscosity can be quickly and accurately measured without sampling. In addition, an outer cup with a bottom cover is also available for measuring small amounts of samples, and temperature can be fully controlled.
Measurement system:
11 preset measurement systems and 99 programmed measurement systems
Multiple measurement systems make the measurement range of Rheomat R180 particularly wide. Its measurement system meets the requirements of DIN 53018Ff and can perform absolute viscosity measurement, which is beneficial for optimizing viscosity comparison.
Special measurement system: Some samples require special measurement systems, such as high solid content samples or special suspensions. R180 has corresponding special attachments to meet your special requirements. Testing is very flexible.
Relative measurement system: Using DIN standard measuring rotors and large outer cups, even without outer cups, can greatly expand the range of viscosity measurement (see data table). The obtained data is relative data and is only applicable for comparing different samples under the same testing conditions.
Temperature control:
Accurate viscosity measurement begins with accurate temperature measurement. R180 uses PT100 temperature sensor to directly read the temperature of the sample at the gap.
Standard configuration:
Randomly equipped with three sets of measurement systems that comply with DIN 53018/DIN53019 requirements. Each system includes a rotor, outer cup, and bottom cover, and the measured absolute viscosity can be compared with other data that meet DIN standards. Including AC power supply, bracket, software, and instrument box
